Last year I made a sheet for my students that summarized, categorized and ordered the multiplication strategies they could learn and then use in relation to times tables. This year I refined it for both parents and students to understand so as to be used for homework support when learning tables. This works well for students who prefer not to compete with themselves and also those who want/need to know strategies to learn and/or work out the tables. ![]()

by Chris Biffle. It is great for those students who enjoy such practice and it is based on self-challenge. It includes more than multiplication with addition facts, subtraction facts, division facts and fraction facts. You can download an explanation pack too. This helps you understand how to use it, but once you get your head around it, its two minutes of practice and fun for each child per day.
