I designed this Participation Pie to ask specific questions that require my student's to qualify his or her portion of participation. It also draws his or her attention to our PYP Transdisciplinary Skills and Attitudes. Each student completes a Participation Pie but must agree within his or her group how it is divided. Each student responds using only key words within his or her portion of the pie in the same color as the question.
I developed this idea from Cooperative Learning: Where Heart Meets Mind (1991) by B. Bennett, C. Rolheiser and L. Stevahn to incorporate our PYP Transdisciplinary Skills and PYP Attitudes from the IBO.
